Alumnae Chapter
Alrighty- so I know that I have not been around that much lately- I have been busy with school and with all these issues that we are facing now...
Anyways, it is very possible that we are going to lose our chapter... I have been extremely upset about this and am having a really hard time dealing with it. But, life must go on and as an attempt to get out of this funk that I'm in I want to start thinking about the future- many of the girls of my chapter would like to start an alumnae chapter for this area-if we do get closed down....does anyone out there know anything about starting an alumnae chapter? All info would be greatly appreciated. Although currently disgruntled-I still love our sorority and hope that all of your chapters never have to experience what we have had to endure. Oh no! What's going on with your chapter? I hope ya'll can avoid being closed. If not, good luck on the alumnae chapter http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

DZjusty,
Your school administrators are a big bunch of poopy heads. Give them a raspberry salute from me. I think you should all get together and start a "club" so the admin can't say it's a sorority. Waynesburg College in PA had the same thing happen to them a year or 2 ago - I think there may have been a DZ chapter there. If so try and get in contact with them and see what they did. |
I don't know anything about starting an alumnae chapter, but I wanted to let you know that you have our support. I hope everything turns out ok for you. Think positive!!!

Hey dzjusty,
I'm glad to know that you aren't letting all this mess get the best of you! Starting an alumnae chapter is really fairly simple, and dues are really inexpensive, too. Contact Nationals online at www.deltazeta.org and let them know that you are interested in starting an alumnae chapter in the Santa Clara area if your chapter is closed. They can tell you everything that you need to do in order to get the chapter started. (The e-mail address can be found on the website in the alumnae section towards the bottom of the page.) Hope this helps! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif [This message has been edited by dzrose93 (edited April 30, 2001).] |
