Need Help Please!!!!!
Hey girls!
I have to speak at a college fair on Thursday about Delta Zeta and Greek Life in general. I will have my own little table set up, along with all the other NPC org. representatives. We are allowed to bring a display board with items about our sorority on it. I am bringing several of my turtles and my badge to put on the table, and am planning to put DZ facts (date and place of founding, how many chapters we have currently, our mascot, flower, philanthropy, jewel, etc.) on the display board. Can anyone think of a creative way for me to do this board so that it REALLY stands out from the other sororities? I want girls to look at my table and really get interested in DZ! I can't rush them verbally at all - that would be against the rules. But I am allowed to put as much info on my board as I want to. Any ideas are much appreciated! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif Thanks in advance for your help! I would say that since all our information speaks for itself http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif, your best bet would probably be to focus on making it really pretty and colorful just to catch girls' attention. Its fortunate that our beautiful pink and green colors do tend to stand out because they are so bright http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif. Also try to make the presentation as 3-D as possible (if thats allowed) and add things like balloons and pink and green confetti. Oh and pictures of the sisters and events are also nice because they allow girls to see what goes on in DZ. I'm not a very creative person but I hoped that helped a little http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

Thanks Turtlegirl! ;o)
I'm working on my display board tonight. I'll let you know how the college fair goes! Wish me luck! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif |
Hi y'all... Just wanted to say that the college fair went well last night. Of course I'm biased, but I really do think that the DZ display board was the best one of all. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif There were 9 sorority booths there, including mine. Attendance wasn't very large, but it was the first year that the fair had been done, so I expect a better turnout next year.
Anyway, just wanted to give you an update! Thanks to everyone who gave me advice on this thread and the one in Greek Life! Love, Carrie |
Congrats DZrose! I'm sure you did a wonderful job http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif !
