we want it to just be a fun, low kep , no pressure thing-not a hard core rush thing. That way, is say, my chapter hates my friend-no feelings are hurt .What kinds of things do you do? How big are your pledge classes?

I'm a pledge class of one, believe it or not. I'm the sole pledge in my chapter, and they weren't really looking for any. We just mutually agreed that I should join.

Anyway, your social ideas are great, though not everyone may like alcohol. If you do a Margarita night, you may want to offer an alternative to alcoholic 'ritas. Maybe a non-alc version for those who tee-total (like me).

My 2c, though that may not be worth much in today's market. :)

I was a Founding Sister of my chapter, so our "pledge class" was the 10 original members. Our next pledge class had 3 members. The Spring 2003 class had 4. The Spring 2004 class (we decided not to recruit in the fall) had 5 new pledges.

I love scrapbooking! We also had success with ice skating, bowling, and Movie Day.
