Iota Man on his way to the OLYMPICS!

Iota Bro. Melvin "Half Man, Half Amazing" Lister, III (1-Delta Nu-00) came in FIRST in the Triple Jump, qualifying to represent the United States at the Olympics this year.

Bro. Lister, who at the time in fourth place, was making his 6th and final jump to qualify for the Olympics. With a deep breath, Bro. Lister sprinted down the runway, and ONE, TWO, THREE --- BAMMMM! 28TH FEET – FIRST PLACE!!!!!!!!! Bro. Lister, after the jump, must have jumped another 15 feet STRAIGHT UP, once he realized he had placed FIRST among all the contenders! LOL

His overall performance was actually a trial's RECORD and is the best performance in the WORLD this year. :D

That would be Terrence Trammell of Omega Psi Phi. And the event was the 110m hurdles if I remember correctly. He graduated from University of South Carolina in 2002 I believe.

Oh how exciting!!! I love watching the Olympics... Now I'll feel connected to one of the athletes... even though he doesn't even know who I am... hehe

That is GREAT news. Good luck to him and the rest of the American Team. I'm sure there are other Greeks on the team as well!

Win or lose, though, being on the team is a tribute to his hard work!

I saw him on TV that night, saw his arm, and said, "He must be an Omega!"

Congratulations to all the Greek athletes in the Olympics!
