Want to be Tri Delt so bad
I am participating in formal rush at University of florida and I am so interested in the DDD chapter here. I love the girls and think they are really cool, but what makes delta delta delta stand out to me is that the national philanthropy is Child cancer patients. As a child cancer survivor it would mean a lot to me to be a part of that. Should I tell the sister at recruitment about my history and would it have any effect what so ever on my chances of getting a bid? Thank you to all who reply. It would mean a lot to me to get an outside perspective.

As long as you are yourself, it should not matter. If it happens to come up that you are a cancer survivor thats great. But I would not bring it up on purpose. You might point out that you will defenitly be interested in getting involved in there philanthropy more than just mandatory events and let it come up that way. I'm sure Tri Delt would love to have you, but make sure that you are confortable there as well.
