Attention US Degrassi fans!

Do not watch The N on July 23rd. The reason why is because Friday is the boycott date, because The N won't air Accidents Will Happen. Please, whatever you do, DO NOT watch The N or go to the website. The boycott may not work, but it is worth a try. I mean, abortion is a big and serious issue and this epidsode needs to be aired to teach kids about abortion. So, please DO NOT watch The N for a second on July 23rd or do to the website.

Thank you

Oh well, I wasn't going to watch the N on Friday anyway, because the only show I watch on there is Degrassi and it's going to be a repeat.

The CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corp.) published an article online regarding viewer backlash...

Maybe we should start our own petition. If they can show Ashley taking drugs, Paige getting raped, and Marco and Dylan kissing, then certainly they can show this

degrassi

I am such a big Degrassi fan, and this is the first I hear about this story. But I totally agree with tnxbutterfly, if they've shown everything else, they HAVE to show this episode.

Plus, it's an important issue that everyone should be informed about.

Rollergirl2001: how did you hear about this? Did you watch the episode or something?

I heard it on the message boards for the show at imdb.com.

i downloaded and watched the 2 parter the other night. it was good and i dont understand why it's become such a big deal. at first Manny decides to keep the baby but realizes that she wont provide the things the baby will need.

the show ends with her walking into the room to have the procedure....that's it

By not showing the episode they're really just drawing more attention to it, especially if there's nothing extremely shocking about it.
Aphibeach, where did you watch the episode?
I love Degrassi, I'm glad I'm not the only one who watches it that's my age :)

i downloaded Bearshare and then i typed in: degrassi - accidents will happen part 1 and then did the same thing for part 2. it didn't take long to download. what was nice was that the person who uploaded the shows, edited out all the commercials :)
