Interested in Rushing Tri-Delt
Hi! I'm rushing at the University of Kentucky this fall and I'm interested in the Tri-Delt chapter here. I've been to the national website but i sitll have a few unanswered questions. I was wondering what Delta Delta Delta looks for in rushees, if a recommendation is required to pledge, and what kinds of questions, are asked during rush. I thank all those who reply http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

Hi SpoiledAngel!
Well, I'm not sure what exactly to tell you about the University of Kentucky, but I'm a Tri-Delt at NAU so I can tell you a little about us! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif During rush, we look for girls that can actually carry on a conversation with us! You wouldn't believe how many girls just sit there not saying anything! And we want girls that are down to earth and seem comfortable with the girls already in the house. Basically, just show them what a cool person you are and get to know them. Basically, there isn't really one type of girl we look for. And about references, I'm not sure how your school works, but we don't require them. They are good to have to get your foot in the door, but the aren't all that important at my school. I'm not sure if this helped you much, but if you have any more specific questions, just ask and hopefully I or someone else can answer them for you! |
Angel,
Ok i know i am not a tri-delt, but i thought i would put my two cents in. If you have questions, ask them during the parties. They well have two great effects. 1)It will show the girls that you are interested in the org. and 2)It will add/start conversation. Good luck with recruitment. Smiles, M |
