SPEAKERS - Help!
Alright so I'll be moving into the fraternity in just over another 2 weeks. My speakers I have now (Klipsch promedia) just aren't doing it for me and I want something that'll put out some sound.
The room I chose is the closest to the stairs on the 2nd floor.. So everyone will pass it and I plan on it being sort of a hub for kickin' it. The room is pretty small... So what do I need to get? I realize I need a receiver and some speakers, but what kind should I get? Where would I buy them? How much should I spend? I need some advice! I checked out circuit city (boo!) the other day and there were some loudspeakers for like $320/pair plus a receiver was like 300. $600 seems like a hell of a lot of money for something like I'm needing so any advice/suggestions would be great! Thanks! -Matt |

$320 a pair? A well placed Surround sound system with a decent sub woofer beats a pair any day. But that's coming from a guy with: Four Surround Speakers Two Aiwa Speakers Two Sharp Loud Speakers Two Aiwa Sub Woofers One Pioneer Sub Woofer in his Living Room. I'm sure if you use ebay you can get some better deals than Circuit City. |
