Roommate Thread
 

Is there a roommate thread I searched but I really did not find one that had the title roommate thread.

Last Fall semester my roommate decided to watch one of our sorority sister's cat because the sister was moving back home with her parents and they are deathly allergic to the cat. So she is just watching the cat until August.

But me and one of our former roommate did not want the cat but her fiance who lives there too agreed with her and let the cat move in. We signed a waiver forum stating that we did were not liable for any damages, costs, etc from the cat. We are not suppose to have any pets except for a fish in our apartment building. Well the cat recently got caught by the cleaning crew that come in during the summer and vacuum during the summer when people move out. Anyway, they fined us. I am not paying for the fine because I did not want the cat. So far the landlord has not came over because she is on a month vacation. Hopefully when she gets back the cat will be gone.

The cat is a pain in the butt. She is always running through the house and trying to scratch the carpet and the doors. They have baby gates and gates all over the house trying to keep the cat from sratching everything.

Any way, I am counting down the days when the cat is leaving. She will be leaving in August and going back to our sorority sister who found an apartment and will be taking back her cat. I will be so happy.

UGGh, Don't getme wrong I love cats and animals. I have 2 big dogs and a cat at home with my parents and I love them.

I have 2 cats and I am confused how baby gates will keep the cat out of stuff. Cats jump up high. I understand your circumstances though. Pets shouldn't be forced on anyone.

The baby gates are used in front of a closed door so that she can not scratch the door or couch, etc.

I really do love animals I love my three it's just that I did not want to get in trouble which we did. We are not suppose to have any pets except for a fish.

The cat is very good, she is litter trained, and does not meow alot during the night. It's just I don't feel like taking care of a cat right now.

I just wish my roommate had of thought of my feeling before she told our sorority sister.

I see what you are saying. I hate when people do stuff without asking first. I hate when people just "assume" it will be okay.
