I'm so glad to hear from you! I just signed my pledge agreement on July 1. I was invited in on June 24, and I'm eagerly awaiting my pledge ritual! I'm a bit scared, but I hope my sisters in Eta Pi (love my chapter name, btw) will truly be the Best Friends of my Life, to paraphrase the website.

How are things going on the Pittsburgh end? I have relatives in Youngstown, OH, not far from you.

The "ragtimerose" moniker comes, in part, from one of my dearest friends, who does a traditional jazz/ragtime radio show. It just felt right, like Beta.
