Entourage on HBO?
 

is anyone going to watch this show? It comes out this Sunday and I'm actually kind of looking forward to it.

The promos they've been showing during Six Feet Under look really fun. Kind of in a similar vein to Swingers, I guess. Like if one of the guys "made it" and just brought everyone else along for the ride.

I read that it is based on Mark Wahlberg's life when he first came to LA (as Marky Mark, heh).

Yeah i have seen the promos for it and i am interesting in watching this show. Maybe it will take the place of my old favorite show Playmakers, the Soap Opera for guys.

I hadn't thought of it being like a Swingers if one of them had made it but that does make sense.

it does seem to be pretty geared to the guys, but I have a feeling girls will still like it. For one thing, the lead actor - Adrian Grenier - is a total hottie.

I also heard that a girl from the O.C. is in it.

watched it tonight it was good. i wasn't overly hyped up about it so it lived up well. Yeah mark Wahlberg is the executive producer of the show and even had a cameo appearance.


Turtle- the guys is funny, using Vince's fame to land girls and survive.

Drama- Older brother just barely making it by

Eric- well rounded guy who has is eye on keeping vince in the big time

That is the perfect entourage.

when i get famous i need a guy like Turtle and Eric.

I'll even bring in a guy like drama even though i don't have an older brother.

what did you guys think of Sunday's episode? I actually thought it was funnier than the first one.

I'm glad they're continuing the storyline about the Matterhorn. I can see why Vince would be self concious that Colin Ferrell took it since he is (probably) a bigger star. But honestly Colin Ferrell isn't all that IMO so it would be cool redemption to see if Eric made a good call on a shitty script.

And that car was ridiculous. Is Vince trying to be J Lo now? I'm glad he's getting rid of it.

The show is pretty good so far. I don't really like Vince that much. Eric is a better character. Drama is funny. I liked the story with him rehearsing to do the Vagina Monologues.

Yeah, the Bentley was ugly as sin. I don't see the appeal.

okay - I know I should have seen it coming but I was dying laughing when Turtle actually called that crazy fan who sent the nude pic! He's lucky she didn't kill him with a frying pan. Who does that?????

So Vince's movie was #2 to a squirrel. I'm sure there are plenty of actors out there who have felt similar pain. I'm really curious about what will happen with this movie that Vince was offered but Colin Ferrell took - will it show that Eric has great instincts or that he should never have advised Vince in the first place.
