Whoopi is one of my fav actresses (primarily because of the Color Purple)

Weight loss product manufacturer Slim-Fast announced Wednesday it had dropped Whoopi Goldberg as its spokeswoman, following a controversy over sexually explicit comments she made last week at a fund-raiser in New York for presumptive Democratic nominee Sen. John Kerry.

If it means seeing her less on TV, I'm all for it. I'm just not a big fan of her acting.

LOL. I was never a trek fan. And I'm not happy with her latest roles but she will forever be on my list for The Color Purple (her first role I believe) Jumpin Jack Flash, and Ghost.

I liked her new sitcom. Forgot what it was called. She was funny.

What I meant to say was she was funny..in that show. I think it was cancelled.

I liked the commercial where she just announced randomly "I'm a loser"...and then proceeded to talk about Slim-Fast...good stuff

I think she went a little bit too far with her comments at the fundraiser, but I am getting tired of the spineless companies cutting their spokespeople because they say isht that they don't like.

Could be because the company didn't support the things that she said. Whoopi was essentially one of their employees. When one of your employees harms the company's image, you cut them loose.

Loved Whoopie in many Shows, Movie and TV.!

But, Whoopie can be a nasty mouth B! She did and that is The way it is!

She should have been dropped!

She said the only Bush she likes is her own.

That's not so bad. I heard that she called him vulgar names. I mean if your name is Bush, you have to develop a sense of humor about it.
