Bumping this one up as we get closer to Conclave week. Is anyone on the board going this year?

I went to Memphis Conclave and it was a great time. I would recommend the experience to anyone, to go at least once.

goddamnit, i wish i could afford to go:mad: gas, plus room costs, plus costs for registration is way too much for me.

When I went I was my chapter's delegate, so all I had to pay for was airfare and a couple of meals/drinks when we all went out. I agree that, although the fraternity gets a good deal on prices, it can be a lot for a college student to handle money-wise.

Oh well, there's always another one in two years. I can only imagine what things will be like in Vegas, though.

Sounds like there will be an event to honor Brother Jimmy Buffett. I wonder if he'll be attending. I read one of his more recent books, and he makes mention of joining Kappa Sig.

I'll be going with two others from our colony at Kennesaw State U in Georgia.

I've paid for everything and am hoping to get onto the mentor program through our AA. If not I'll have to take out a loan. I learned a lot from the regional Dixie Conclave so I figured I'd learn a lot more in Vegas.

I'm not quite sure how much partying I plan on doing.

According to an email sent out on some of the listserves by Brother Kaplan, 890 brothers have registered for Conclave, making it one of the largest Conclaves ever.
