Whoopi

KERRY: Every performer tonight in their own way -- either verbally or through their music, through their lyrics -- have conveyed to you the heart and soul of our country. You've come here tonight to invest in that, and we're going to leave here tonight determined to 'let America be America again.

Well what exactly did that night include?

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,125141,00.html

NEW YORK, N.Y. — Whoopi Goldberg (search) delivered an X-rated rant full of sexual innuendoes against President Bush last night at a Radio City gala that raised $7.5 million for the newly minted Democratic ticket of John Kerry (search) and John Edwards (search).

Waving a bottle of wine, she fired off a stream of vulgar sexual wordplays on Bush's name in a riff about female genitalia, and boasted that she'd refused to let Team Kerry clear her material.

"I Xeroxed my behind and I folded it up in an envelope and I sent it back with a big kiss mark on because we're Democrats — we're not afraid to laugh," she said.

She addressed fresh-faced vice-presidential candidate Edwards as "Kid," and "young Mr. Edwards" and cracked, "He looks like he is about 18 "

"I'm going to card his ass tomorrow."

Hmm if Bush can't handle jokes about him, it must have really drove him nuts with Will Ferrell's SNL skits about him.

Kerry has heard all kinds of things about him but it doesn't seem to bother him. He even joked about the hair thing that was talked about in another thread.

Politicians with a sense of humor is a good thing.

Whoopi! We just might have to start 900 threads about ova again!

Munchkin03 07-10-2004 05:16 PM

The only Bush I trust is my own.

Is that what she said? Damn those sexual innuendos!

Kevin 07-10-2004 05:43 PM

I don't see the big deal.

If Kerry wants to have people talking like that at his fundraisers, who am I to say no?

Election year politics make me want to chew my arm off.

We freak out over the VP saying the F word (oh no!).

And then Whoopi Goldberg says nasty things about the President (shocker!).

If that's what she said, she owes my friend/sister Steph some money. Steph was president of the College Democrats and was photographed back in the 2000 holding a sign of "the only bush i like is my own"

we were proud!

I remember reading that in 1988 as well as "Bushwhacked" and "Keep Choice: Stay out of my Bush." 2000 was reminiscent of 1988. I hope 2004 is a replay of 1992.
