MP3 players

I'm looking into buying an MP3 player, but don't want a crappy one. I'll be using it to work out, so I wouldn't want a huge ipod or something.

Who has an MP3 player? What kind is it? Do you like it or not? Which player would you recommend?

Thanks!

After a few threads, I think the consensus is that Ipod is the way to go.

IPod is definitely the way to go! I work out everyday with mine (I have the regular sized one that has the least amt of memory...4000 songs i think?) They have an arm band or various other things for people who work out. If you still think the regular sized one is too big, you can get the IPod mini (also can purchase arm band) but the mini only holds about 1000 songs i think (which is still a lot!) :D

I got my armband (its actually a black "sleeve/protector" for the IPod with the armband attached to it) at the Apple store in a mall near me. Thought I think this is it on the apple website. It's about half way down the page and it's called the "Marware SportSuit Convertible iPod Sleeve." Hope that helps!!! :D

Hmm, it looks like I'm the only one, but I have a Dell Digital Jukebox and I love it. It goes for weeks without needing to be recharged and I never have any problems with it.

I've got a pink mini ipod on the way!!!! My bf and I were searching for them and went to the Apple store. They were completely sold out. People are calling every morning to see if any shipments came in and to put them on hold if they had any. And when shipments of the mini ipods come in, they sell out in the first hour. And the ones on ebay have bidding wars and are around $300 (in store is $249). Now... i have to find songs to download.....

I think new Ipods are being released on Monday, FYI.

Bang & Olufsen make a fantastic MP3 player that works with iTunes or a free downloadable program availible through their website.......however, it's not cheap.......not at all.....

Thanks for telling me Rudey! But I still like the pink mini ipod that i'm getting :)

Actually Ipods are the most expensive MP3 players out there for the memory that you get on them. Although Apple does have the aesthetics going on and I must admit that the pink mini drew me in and I now own one, even though (and my dad likes to remind me of this ALL the time) I could own a dell Juke box which holds a lot more songs and cost 100 dollars less.

Besideds the iPod, what other MP3 players are good?

I don't really have the money for any iPod, but I would like to get an MP3 player.
