Toast song change likelihood.

Moving this to a separate thread from the convention. The Toast song change requires a 2/3 vote (Because changing it changes the ritual itself) and I just don't see it happening. Even the regions with a higher percentage of liberal schools (I, X, II?,IX?) don't seem to have a strong majority of their chapters in favor of it. The support for changing the toast song doesn't seem to particularly divide by gender in a large way, but rather by school.

As for particular events that might make it more likely...
1) The National President being willing to write definately in favor of changing the toast song in a T&T
2) The Nat President being willing to address the delegates that it needs to be changed.
3) Losing an extension effort (probably at PG level) due to the "men of" at a school that all of the delegates recognize. Lafayette, Harvard, West Point or something similar.
4) Similarly losing an international extension at a Canadian school.

Randy, I don't even know anymore. A change doesn't seem likely, but it all depends on who shows up to convention, I guess.

I am definitely eager to see what other proposals will be presented to the delegates.

Toast Song reports

At the 2002 National Convention, the Regions were instructed to research various aspects of the Toast Song. Those reports were to have been finished by June 15. Several Regions have their final reports posted here:

I'm sure more will be coming!
