What to do?
Aight; here we go:
One of your bruhs/sorors just told you that they met and caught mad feelin's for somebody, and they want you to meet this person. They introduce yall and you know this person is beyond promiscuous; they're straight guttah! What's worst is they are considering marrying this slut. What do you do? Do you inform your bruh/soror; or do you mind your own business? |
I say tell them..then whatever decision they make is on them
|
I'd say tell them but keep in mind that people do change despite their past. It is up to your friend to decide what they are going to do but my friend's instincts have never been wrong about guys I've dated.
|
I tell him what I think.
Since he wanted me to meet her I'm presuming it's because our friendship is tight and he already knows that I'm going to look out for his interests. I'd speak truth as fraternally as I could and then step back, and be ready to help him recoup his life after she stomps his heart if he ignores my advice and marries the aforementioned skank. |

I'd spill it
point out the facts I have and step back and support his decision. |
Wow. I actually had to deal with a similar situation not long ago. I found out a younger soror that I am very close to was dating a guy that I had grown up with. Unfortunately, he has always had quite a reputation (including one for spreading disease). I just talked to her in a sisterly way about it. I told her that I was not trying to gossip or to get in her business, but that I wanted her to be aware of the possible consequences of dating this guy. I basically gave her the "information" I had and told her that it was up to her to make an "informed" choice. I keep placing everything in quotes, because some of what I "knew" was based on wide-spread rumor. Keeping that in mind, I was certain to tell her that I had no evidence, but that I wanted her to err on the side of caution. These days, I figure you just can't be too careful. If the situation had been reversed, I would have wanted my "big sister" to tell me.

ummmmm - some men like sluts :D maybe the guy is really the man that can change this girls behavior. i don't think folk should offer advise unless asked - -- if this chick-n-head is known by all the fellows your boy will show nuff learn of her past.

are you serious with this, or just passing time on a Friday afternoon? |

and by men over 30 I'm talking about level-headed, focused men, not male chicken-heads. |
When the right person comes along things change. I know many girls that were sluts in high school and some in college that are now members of the D9.
There is a song that says I'm not what I outta be but thank God I'm not what I use be. As educated men and women of D9 we have the power to make a difference in the lives of many. More importantly, its never too late change. |

My point is simply this: men who seek “easy,” tend to often overlook women who have much more to offer. Maturity, at some point, teaches most men to look for someone comparable; for male chicken-heads I’m guessing it’s more like paternity tests and court-orders that convince them that there’s a better way to go… |
Good Morning Frat,
I hope you know "I was just passing time on Friday." Now, I'm back to business. A slut is a slut - - - My only advise would be to suggest that my frat get to know the girl better and suggest that he really explore his and her past relationships. In adddition, I would suggest that he not rush into anything. What I would not do is say this girl has been a slut - why are you with her. |
lmao @ "freek-a-leek".
I cannot speak for all females, but I know I would not tell another soror/friendgirl anything about her man. I think it's kind of "a different case" where females are concerned. We might be "tight" and all, but naaaa I would not say a word. What is done in the dark, will soon come to the light. All I can do is be there for her. |
