Ads that make you go "Ew"
 

Glad to see slate.com did an article on the creepyiest commercial to grace my tv in months.

The Ballpark Franks, "Girthy" ad. That dude creeps me out.

Plugging the leak in the rowboat with a tampon. Ew. I'm sure the date went well after that.

OH. MY. GOD.

That freaks me out everytime. Who, for the love, would DO that? Who would even THINK to do that?! I'm married, and I still wouldn't pull out a tampon for recreational purposes...much less on a date.

So disturbed.

I also hate the one for the Viagra-like medicine where the voice over guy says, "if you have an erection for more than 4 hours, consult a doctor.":eek:

I always cringe after hearing that. :eek: I mean I know it can be a serious problem, but must you put that in an ad?

Not sure how many states have this one but I swear to God, the dancing guy on the 6 Flags commercials CREEPS ME OUT. If he drove up to my house, I would lock the door and not come out, let alone let him take me to 6 Flags!!!

Well, I like the 6 Flags man - I think he is funny. The commercial I think is way gross is the one about toenail fungus and it has all these creepy little fungus people jumping all around under the nail. I have to leave the room when it comes on.

My thing with that one is............what exactly could the doctor do for that? LOL

We got the Six Flags man, he looks weird, but my daughter likes him lol.

I didn't like the one on MTV for Punk'd where the family is at Thanksgiving dinner or something and he fakes a heart attack. That was NOT cool.

EWW I just saw the Girthy commercial. EWWW!

I like the 6 Flags old dude. I'm hearing the music in my head as I type. he's on buses all over New York City.

There are commercials for medicines that have side effects. The side effect sounds worse than the original problem.

I hate that commercial where they talk about "body soil" and they show bubbling nastiness on this bed that a guy was about to land on.

There is just something wrong about this commercial. I always change the channel when it comes. It grosses me out.

all tampon commercials freak me out but thats cause i am an immature little boy and still think girls are gross

I agree I hate that commerical but what always cracks me up is that the girl whips out an entire box of tampons and I always think how I don't know any girl who carries her tampons in the box. Talk about a bulky load in your purse...no one does that!

The girthy one is definitely the WORST! The credit card one with the guy talking in the girl's voice about being the "prettiest girl in the whole development!" creeps me out majorly. My boyfriend does the voice to startle me. He makes up for it though by making my stuffed turtle dance and singing the "Ain't we got fun" song from the commercial with the dancing turtle. Hmmm..Maybe I watch too much tv? :D

No kidding! The other question I have: exactly where did she expect to change her tampon on that boat?

All commercials for male enhancement skeeve me out.
