Bruhs, it is with great pride that I write this. Dr. Bro. Henry Tisdale
(my brother-in-law), President of Claflin University, daughter Danica
Tisdale won the crown Miss Georgia on last Saturday. She is the 1st ever
black woman to win the Miss Georgia Pageant...thus she's off to the Miss
America Pageant in Sept. Bruhs my niece will need the bruhs support as
she goes for this dream. Roooo-dat Que's!!!

Congratulations!! Is Danica a member of a GLO?

There is a thread in the Alpha Kappa Alpha room about the new Miss Georgia. She joined AKA as a member of the Mu Pi Chapter at Spelman College (my alma mater, BTW! :D)

Congrats to Danica for being the first Black Miss GA. I live in GA, and didn't know about this. So I am really pleased to hear this. Hopefully, she will be crowned by my soror, the current Miss America, Ericka Dunlap, as the new Miss America for 2005.
