hi im going to be a 3rd year at USC this year. i was wondering if the white sororities are accepting of minorities? im asian
|
I know on my campus they accept all races regardless of the background. I've known members to join predominately white sororities and they were from different culture backgrounds. I have also known asian and white women to join latin sororities.

Is the USC you are talking about Southern Cal or South Carolina? At Southern Cal, I know that the NPC system is diverse.
It is not a white sorority, it is an NPC sorority. It is preferable to many on this board that the term historically white or NPC be used...preferably NPC |
USC as in california? california schools have very diverse sororities.
hey jill, we posted at the same time!!:D |
Great minds think alike! :)

yeah usc as in southern california.. i dont know if the npc ones are accepting of minorities?
|
USC's Panhellenic is very accepting of women of all races, religions and cultural backgrounds. Panhellenic is currently accepting Recruitment Registration Forms. If you have specific questions about recruitment you should contact the Office of Residential and Greek Life. Their phone number is 213-740-2080. The Panhellenic VP of Recruitment is Maya Buki. She should be able to answer any questions you have.

Many of the NPC ladies here are non-white, including myself. I would think that at a school like USC, there'd be non-white girls in NPC groups. NPC sororities have been officially desegregated for a very long time.
|
have you been at USC for all 3 years? Or are you transferring there in the fall?
|
The chapters at USC are very diverse, like others have stated. You won't have a problem finding a chapter you like!
