Brother Barney E. Smart

Brother Barney E. Smart, director of bands at Hampton University, passed away yesterday (July 2) after suffering a heart attack in the band suite at the University. Arrangements will be finalized by Monday. He was an initiate of Beta Upsilon at Alabama State.
