Hot 97 radio station and its owner, Emmis Communications Corp., each agreed to pay $240,000 to settle a probe by New York state Attorney General Eliot Spitzer of its "Smackfest" contests.

Yea i heard about the 240,000 tonight on the news.
Hot 97 is always in some drama. I think they try entirely to hard and it doesnt seem to be paying off. I remember the whole Tsunami song incident about 6mths back was another issue. Things are done in a completely sloppy manor over there...
