B-94 is no more
 

Attention Pittsburghers: B94 is now "K-Rock." Howard Stern in the morning and from the sounds of it, classic rock w/ occasional Beastie Boys & 3 Doors Down all day. (Beastie Boys into Foghat is scary)

For those outside the area, this relates to Rudey's "killing my free speech" thread. Pittsburgh is one of the markets where Stern got kicked off a Clear Channel station. So now he's jumped to an Infinity station and the whole format switched (and people fired) for him.

Wow I remember growing up to B-94 all through grade school and HS. It will be sad not to come home to see the parents and not be the old B94. I grew up in Steubenville, OH about 25 mins from Pittsburgh, near Weirton, WV so we always listened to all Pittsburgh stations. The hubby is from Toronto, OH and grew up listening to 157.0 the X I think its called.

Wasnt it Bubba and Shelly on B94 its been about 6 years so I forget lol.

It's great that Stern commands such an audience. The public demand for him is there. It'd be nice if the FCC would simply just define exactly what indecent is.
