the annoying boys on my block
 

I live in a nice working class residential family neighborhood in Queens. Recently these "boys" moved in across the street. They are all about 21 and all drive convertible mercedes with music blaring constantly and the token puppy dog-like follower girlfriend. They sit on the street in their car blaring their music and I think they really think they look cool. They also leave their windows open in their house so you can always hear them yelling and screaming. They just look and act so out of place around here. Ok that's my vent of the day.

Yeah, we have a bunch of teenagers across from my townhouse who hang out on the front stoop all the time. At one point they hauled in some POS couch from god knows where and put it out in front of their door. Apparently everyone in the complex complained to the HOA and by the time they got that thing out of there they'd been slapped with a huge fine.

Yah. I don't hear them when I am in my house. It's just one of those things where it's unfortunate that the neighborhood in general has to put up with it. They aren't teenagers though which is the annoying part. My neighborhood is very diverse and it is mostly young families who work hard, drive minivans, you know what I am saying. I don't know their situation but I certainly cannot afford a mercedes and I am in my late 20's. It makes me wonder if mom and dad are paying their way. If that is the case it is wierd that they'd settle in this neighborhood. I love my neighborhood but there are more snobbier neighborhoods I think where they'd "fit in" better you know what I am saying?
