Question about gmail...
I've got my account all set up and have all my contacts added... But how do I send an email to more than one person???
I know that sounds really dumb... But I can't seem to figure it out. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks! ~Beth |
They don't have a mass-select function like hotmail does right now (it's still in beta). It does have a nice function where if you type the first few letters of a name and then hit (I think ) tab, it'll finish up that person's email address for you.
So I just go through all the a's, then b's, then c's. It's a little slower, but I don't send out a ton of mass mails. |

It's kind of a pain in the butt. I'm sure it's something they have planned for the future though. If you have mailing lists, you might consider typing the mailing list out once (by hand) then copy/pasting it to a text file that you keep in a folder on your desktop. Then you can just copy/paste the mailing list into the to field anytime you want. That'd actually be faster than checking down the list of contacts. |
Oh, goodie! I got it to work... I just typed out the beginning of the names, like you said... It comes up with a drop down list, nice.
Thanks again! |
