Ken Jennings on Jeapordy
Has anyone seen this guy? He has been on Jeopardy for about 3 weeks now. He has won $600,00 too. Its amazaing how much he knows about random topics.
|
i've seen him, i think he's a little fishy though....Quiz Show, anyone?
|
This guy seems unstoppable. Mr BR and I have a bet going on how long before he loses. He says he'll break $1M, I think it will come to an end before that.
Either way, its got to be a ratings bonanza :) |
He has, I think, a 16 day record. Props to him, but personally I'm a little sick of him and can't wait for a new champion.
|
I think this week is his last week
|
Ive watched him from the first day as I love to watch Jeopardy in the evenings. Its cute how he writes his name diff each day. I too think this week will be his last, though I thought that about last week. I think he wants to make sure he is way up there so noone can get close to breaking his record, plus the money is easy to get. He seems to know a lot about nothing lol.....

hey i say good going...i dont see anything fishy about it..... Jepordy took the rule away about topping off at a limit and there are ppl who know a lot of useless things we take for granted ....so good for him! Love to see him on Millioniare better yet super millioniare.

I'm with the Quiz show thoughts. I'm rooting for him to lose. Its time for some else. That and I've been trying to get onto Jeopardy since I was first eligible for the Teen Tournement, and I'm a bit bitter that he is still on there and I can't even get an audtition!!!
There is always hope for tonight. |

He's really quick on the signal button (watch the other contestants' frustrations with theirs), and several times, even though he rang in, he didn't know the answer. That, and he immediately goes for the topics he knows well, builds up his total, then has a lot of money for the Daily Double so that he can bet high. |
I was wondering if he won again today. I missed it.

When they first started the kids Jeopardy, they did not know yet how they were going to do it. My daughter called to audition and we were invited to the test. They put the kids on the Jeopardy set and put the parents in an empty sound studio. Gave all of us a test (daughter said kid's test was really easy). After the test adults were taken back to the studio to be with our kids. If either the kid or the parent passed the test then you got to stay and play a sample game. I know we stayed because daughter did so well. About 75% of the people were let go. I was amazed at parents yelling at their kids for not doing well, and as they were going on and on I was thinking to myself "you didn't pass the test either if you are not asked to stay." When they decided on their set up for the game, they decided that daughter was too old to compete. She was later asked to audition for teen jeopardy but was at camp and could not get there. Maybe now she will try out for college jeopardy. DaffyKD |

He plays the way I play at home. Sadly, I didn't pass my Jeopardy tryout. I might tryout again. I'm really smart when I play at home. :)
