Npc Rush
why dont they rush one day at one sorority?? that would make it nice. I hear so many women complain about the packed in week schedule and that it was not fun, blah blah.........
also it would save the sorority time and money. For example, lets say first group at 1 pm, second one at 3 pm. and they dont have to stay together some group could go to ABC at 5pm, and some go to XYZ at 5pm. it would work better for those whose schedule dont fit on the "rush" time........ but its my two cents. what do you think about it and how you think it can be improved?? |

I don't think it needs to improve. What we do works for us. We don't tell your group or other non-NPC groups that their rush or anything else they do "needs to improve". :( That's ignorant |

Could the system be improved? Sure it could. Would something like you have described (and as PM Mama pointed out) work on a small campus even if it couldn't work where there is large NPC presence? Most definitely. You make some very good points. However, most NPC members are happy (mostly) with the process just as I am sure you are happy with your intake process. |

Plus, there are different rounds - you can't do that all in one day. |

I also know that sometimes working & trying to go through rush can be quite a pain but we were always able to work it out w/ PNM's. Some of the girls that would have to work would be escorted by special Rho Chi's to each house on their own schedule (they spent less time @ each house the first day & as the week went on they were given priority time slots for the houses they were invited back to.) It worked out quite well, and out of the 700-900+ girls that go through rush each year there were hardly more than 5 girls each time that needed the special attention. |
