Who Will be in a Second Bush Cabinet?
 

Rumsfeld and Powell will be gone. My guess is that one of them will be replaced by Condi Rice.

You think Powell will be gone? I can definitely see Rumsfeld not returning. Rice has had some controversy lately, but I think it would be great if she sticks around.

Powell has stated several times that he will resign at the end of Bush's 1st (and hopefully last) term.

Rice serves no purpose- I mean Communist Russia hasn't been much of a problem since the Cold War ended- so why do we need her specialties in that area?

Rice spends a a large amount of personal time with the Bushes and she's gone to the mat for GWB, I bet he'll keep her.

I think that he would definitely keep her. She is absolutely brilliant, and he needs all the sharp minds that he can get. Her specialization is Russia does not take away from her ability to learn and adapt on the job. Let's not forget that she has no formal training as an educator, yet Stanford University found her deserving to serve as their Provost.
