This may offend some but WTH, I'm concerned about the amount of apathy that is displayed in our communty. It seems sometimes that we just don't care I remember being a little kid when the Apollo feel on hard times in the 80's it took a massive effort from artist like George Micheals, Bono and other(like) artist to keep the Apollo up and going. I guess what I'm trying to ask is what causes US to just easily give up and let a great legacy die, when Morris Brown fell on hard times many instead of trying to fight to keep it going began plans for it's funeral. If we are ever going to truly rise as a people we must began to lift others as we climb. Over in the DELTA thread CT4 presented a thread about the Oldest Black owned nursing home facing financial hardship...please take a minute to go over and check it out, it's about time we quit looking for others to do things that we can do for ourselves.

Take heart that just because we don't post a reply doesn't mean we haven't taken note of it. And as someone said over there, some of us might be consumed with that is happening in our own local communities.
