Anniversary Celebrations
 

My fraternity is coming up on its second anniversary, Were going to have a party, but what other events do you all have?

Our formal is the Saturday closest to March 9th which is the date that we received our charter.

We have a founder's day celebration during the chapter meeting closest to our founding -- October 13, 1870! We invite alums and have a nice little get-together.

I'm sure if you contact other chapters, you can find out events that they do and get some ideas!

Our Founders Day Weekend, we have an Honor NA who goes through Ritual to become a new Brother.

Two Reasons, it is a time to get Alums back, meet and Greet Each other again for over the years, (39), build the Brotherhood watching Our Initiation and Ritual.

We also started doing an Auction at The Banquet. People (Brothers, Alums), Donate items of either LXA, School, or something else that someone might enjoy, Care Packages for College Students or what ever. The Money gained goes to the Chapter. Many buy more than the items they brought.:)

This last year, I donated a ton of items from recognition pins, shirts, Patches and a Badge of All Pearls.

The highlight of the Night were Bricks!

Ah, Bricks you say, well, they each had a Plaque applied to them stating the date and the occasion!

Three of them brought @ $900.00!

I didnt get mine! :(

my org is currently a local but going national in the fall.

Alpha Gamma Delta is celebrating 100 years in a few weeks so we are all going to Chicago for a big pizza party!;) :D
