New chapters
 

Hi all AST sisters.

I'm an alumna from Gamma Upsilon chapter, the only chapter on the west coast. When I was an active, I really wished there was another chapter near us. I wanted to be able to do activities with sisters from other chapters. For a while (though I didn't say so) I thought we should focus on getting another chapter in California. But then I thought that our energy would be best put to making our chapter strong first, since we were fairly new ourselves. I was, after all, only the fourth class to be initiated. But then I also thought it would give us strength knowing we had other besides ourselves to help us and to grow with us. Well, I thought a lot of things.

Anyway, what do you think? Are there any other sisters out there from chapters that didn't have a lot of other chapters near them? How did you feel?
