Microsoft Word Question

How do you reset the spelling/grammar thingy? For some reason, my Microsoft Word does not pick up any spelling or grammar mistakes.

Via the menus at the the top, select Options (or called Preferences) item (might be the near bottom of the Tools menu?) and then click the Spelling & Grammar tab, there.

You can also via the same menu (Tools I think) set the language (e.g. English) used (and therefore spellchecked with) for the document or global template

Don't have a copy of MS Word on here so the above is a little vague but pretty much accurate.

I just checked on mine.... Tools ---> Options ---> Spelling & Grammar is correct.

Better yet,
go back to first grade through college and take english and learn how to spell properly to begin with, not too mention learn grammatical rules.

Possibly. I think all of us, at one time or another though, make 'typos'. It's an inevitable reflection perhaps of doing everything at speed, in today's society. Having them highlighted in red can be useful; irrespective of our understanding of accepted rules of grammar and proficiency in spelling. ;)
