Today is my birthday but everyone is gone, busy, work, vacation, summer school and it doesnt help that i moved two hours away (i live in bay now) ...........i will see my friends on weekends, etc. for a late birthday hang out........I was hoping there was a surprise party or something...........This is why its bad to have birthday in summer......

My birthday was forgotten this year. At work, on someone's birthday, we bring in a cake and all sit down and enjoy it for about half an hour or so. They didn't do that for me this year. :( So I can definitely empathize w/ you. Cheer up - it will get better!

Second of all, I feel your pain. My birthday is notorious for falling during people's vacations. Ever since I was a kid...

I think it was worse when I wanted to really go out and celebrate my 21st Birthday in Sacramento. My birthday was on a Monday (blah!) and when I went to Sac on a Thursday, no one was available to hang out, or were under age. So yes, summer b-days can be a bummer sometime.

As a June 2nd birthday person, I completely understand. I gave up on trying to do anything elaborate on my birthday.

I totally understand. Mine is July 20th so its always been hard to round up a lot of people to have a party cause everyone is busy, esp in college. Thank goodness for my sisters when I was 21, they made sure to take me out, but still it seems more people can go out when school is in and everyone is in town. Sorry you are like a lot of us and have a bday in the summer when noone is around.

Awww, hon, it sucks when you can't have a fun birthday. A few years ago, EVERYONE forgot mine, and I was so sad.

I can completely sympathize. My birthday is in 15 days and I am going in for surgery next week. I should be fully recovered by the time my birthday rolls around but it's on a Wednesday and I will be working that day so it will not be fun. Granted I'm going to Vegas 2 days later I hate spending my birthday alone...
