Hi sisters - how often do you use the private side of the national website (Alpha Net)? I think it would be great if it was utilized more - maybe we should all do "membership drives" within our chapter sisters. Thoughts?

I'm in my third semester as an ASA. I've used the number on my Phoenix and haven't been able to access Alpha Net. There are a lot of problems with the system for sister to be able to use it as a membership drive tool. A lot of the sisters from my chapter are having the same problems.

Hi Amy! It's good to see another sister on here! Lana and I are getting sore throats from yelling back and forth across this big empty virtual room! :D

They now have something called AdvisorNet, which you don't need a password to get into. It's not overly busy, though.

There is another ASA in this world! I know some of my sisters are having trouble logging on as well. I heard that there was a virus or something from my chapter advisor when the September 11 th events occurred and a lot of problems happened on the ASA site.

So I finally got registered on Alpha Net--well I was very disappointed:(
Many of the forums don't have many posts and when I click on show posts for the yr-- i don't see the posts that should be there all i see is an empty forum.
I was really bored! I have way more fun on greekchat!!!
What do you all think? Why do you think alphanet is very good?

yes, somewhat underwhelming isn't it? :p

I personally think we should get one of the chapter webmistresses who has a kick-ass site (Zeta something in NY comes to mind) to do our national site, as we could save a lot of money, and the collegian doing it could get work experience/internship credits. But that's just my opinion. ;)

Definately!! I love checking out other ASA websites. There are some really good ones out there! Does your alumnae assoiciation have a website?

Well, after a fashion...the girl who made it had it on Penn State Behrend's server, and I have to figure out how to get it onto prodigy. Maybe I should call up my ex and say "I put up with your crap for a year and a half...show me how to do this!" :p
