A Million Thanks

As most of you know, I attend a lot of Nascar races every year. When I attended the Charlotte race in May there was a girl named Shauna Fleming. Nascar asked her to come talk to the Nascar fans about a new thing she organized for the service men and women overseas. It is called A Million Thanks and their website is www.amillionthanks.org. They are trying to get 1 million letters of thanks and appreciation over to the men and women fighting for what is right. I got a chance to talk to her before the race started and it is a wonderful idea. I went to the booth and wrote a letter and came home and have been trying to get neightbors and sisters to write letters to help them out. This is a awesome idea. These people are homesick and really deserve a letter from someone showing appreciation for what they are doing. If you go to the website above you can get the address to send your letters and also some guidelines about the letters. I was hoping we could get some GCers to help out this wonderful cause and encourage your friends, family, and fraternities/sororities to participate in this. These people deserve some positive letters to us and what this girl is doing, is a wonderful thing. Again here is the link A Million Thanks

Shan,
Thanks for posting the info....this is something that I am DEFINITELY interested in helping out with, coming from such a strong and heavily populated area of military families!

Jennie
