As I sit watching As Told By Ginger (Thanks FeeFee), they showed the premiere of an animated show called Fatherhood for Nick at Nite on Sunday, June 20th at 9pm EST.

Just saw the preview for this the other night. I will tune in. I wonder why it's on Nick @ Nite?

Did anyone watch? What did you think? From now on, it will be on Tuesday nights I believe.

I watched it, I thought it was pretty good, and I will put it on my Tuesday night line up. It's like it's the Cosby show in cartoon.

But, I do have one question....why does the oldest daughter have blue hair?

I was wondering the same thing. Unless it is BLUE-BLACK, lol but yeah that was the oddest thing. I like how they showed health care of parents in the first ep.

I will continue to watch it as well.

Forgot that it was coming on, but we had a HORRIBLE storm, so Directv was out!

It comes on again Tuedsay, 6.22 @ 9PM EST. The storm you all had yesterday was in Charlotte today and for the rest of the week.

I thought it was cute but kind of dry, but i think that was just me because my other family members really enjoyed it. I will probably watch it again though. ;)

BTW: Is it just me, but dont the children remind you of the children in Johnson's Family Vacation? The older girl always has an attitude and thinks that friends are more important than family. The son always picks on the older sister but gets along with everyone and the little girl is always so adorable. Myabe that was just a little observation I picked up on...LOL:D

Interesting point. I am just glad to see that the son has relative intelligence unlike that of Junior on My Wife and Kids. But isn't that typical family dynamic -- brother picks on sister, especially either the older or the one directly under him, i.e Theo with Denise and Vanessa on The Cosby Show and Eddie Winslow with Laura come to mind.

I just hope that they put different clothes on them, because I am tired of seeing the same outfit on Penny Proud.:)

You ain't neva lied. I mean I know how animation works on a basic level but damn at least give her a new outfit every 6 eps or so. Change the colors; hell give her some shorts.

And that's why I love "As Told By Ginger.." because you can always count on her to have on every now and then.

I saw "Fatherhood" and I agree with o2bame in that it was a little dry which I guess is why it's not a morning/early afternoon show for children. It has a nice premise and I enjoyed it.....loved the grand-daddy (as voiced by Lou Rawls). :)

I didn't get in last night until after 10:30, so how was last night episode? Did anyone watch it?

I watched and either Tylenol PM was strong but it was ho hum for me. It was cool but clearly my favorite character is Catherine, lol. I do like how the parents are affectionate with each other and supportive as well.

Teenager stole the parent's car and Arthur Biddlebeep talked about parent peer pressure.


WHAT IS UP with Cosby giving his character's these last names? Huxtable and Biddlebeep. :eek:
