House Corporation
 

For those of you who have chapter houses, how many of you are involved with House Corporation? If so, what is your job and how much does the House Corp do? Im interested in learning about other House Corps.

We have one that is VERY involved, but it has gone downhill somewhat. Only the people who have done it for like 10 years or way more are on it and a lot are getting older and arent able to anymore. We actually have about 3-4 positions open and in dire need of new blood. I joined and last night I helped them out. I am very excited to get in there and help and make the house the best it can be.

Side note, Kidder, Dorothy has relinquished her position of House Corp Property Manager which is a HUGE job and guess who she has passed it to. I didnt even ask for it but I was given all the keys and books last night and I was like oh my. She has done so much for us. How am I gonna fill those shoes? She is our savior if you ask me, no way those girls will think of me like that and I am nowhere near as good and knowledgable as her. Im doomed. So much to do too..... I am thinking positive and hoping I can do well and I am gonna try my hardest I just hope thats good. :( We shall see.

Good Luck Shan! That is a tough job to fill....Dorothy's shoes I mean!! Lately I have been called Dorothy Jr!! So maybe I can be Dot Jr. on Alum Board and you can be Dot Jr. on House Corp! Best of Luck with the new position! Contact the AA if you need us! I think we just donated money recently to help with the computer room in the basement!! Let me know if you need help!

Best of luck to you, my beautiful V&P! I'm sure that you will do an outstanding job, and while right now you may feel like you're "doomed", in a few years I'm sure you'll have the girls thinking that you are the best thing since sliced bread! :)
