Giuliani replacing Cheney as VP?

Rumor has it that Giuliani might replace Cheney as Vice President since Cheney has no desire to run for President. Cheney is also not opposed to the idea of replacing him. Giuliani would definitely strengthen the ticket and possibly pull more of a NYC vote.
Could this tip the balance in the polls?

has this been reported anywhere? and if so, where?

ADPiAkron 06-10-2004 01:11 PM

Sure it could. Many people look at Giuliani as a hero from 9/11...so it wouldnt hurt President Bush to bring him on board!

But that alone would not change my vote over!! Me vote Republican?? hahahahahahaha :D Fat chance!

A pro-choice VP. That would be very interesting to see the backlash from religious fundamentalists.

It won't matter who is on the ticket. This election will be determined by the economy. GDP growth is at a rate that suggests Bush will be reelected in a land slide. He also needs strong job growth to be reelected though. If that happens every month from here on out, Bush wins. Its that simple, but don't believe me. Alan Greenspan believes this too. ;)

I haven't heard any serious reports of this, yet. However, I highly doubt it would take place. Don't they already have campaign materials printed? (Shirts, signs, stickers, etc.) I would think that Bush would not have wanted these made if he seriously considered replacing Cheney.

They have the money to do whatever they want. I'm not sure if that's a good thing though.

Giuliani has to much dirt in his past. Lets not forget how he cheated on his past wife, kicked her out the house and moved his mistress in.

He should switch parties. He'd be a popular guy with the Dems.

lol yah if there is ever a democrat involved with a questionable election like Nixon's watergate break in or Duyba's Florida election mess they should become republican. :p

Rudy will coem on the ticket after the election. Cheney will resign and Bush will reccomend to the Senate for confirmation Giuliani.

The goal of a second term VP is to get elected president, and Cheney is unelectable. TOO extreme, and dosent have the health.

So it will be interesting in 08 to have Rudy and Hiilary running against each other. THat will be an election...

Then he'll fit in perfectly with the rest of them in Washington.

That's not dirt.

And his ex-wife was not kind at all. Rudy moved in with his gay buddy for a while after the nut-job. His gay buddy has a partner so it's cool...now that would be dirt. The guy owns almost every car dealership in NY :)

I disagree....dirt on your shoes would make news if you were running for a political office!! The media is good at turning nothing into something!
