Any Summer Plans?
Any Chi Os have any fun summer plans???
I'm looking forward to attending the Chi Omega Convention in San Antonio at the end of June and going to Pawley's Island, SC with friends at the end of July. |
Ohh.... *drools at convention plans*
I'm going home to WI for a week to work on writing a paper for research I did two years ago. I'm hoping to get it published!!! So... nothing exciting. I will be working two (possibly 3) jobs, volunteering, doing my medical school applications, and trying to lose 10 pounds! |
My parents are renting a condo on Maui for 5 weeks, and I going to spend 10 days there! I cannot wait.
|
Chitownxo that sounds awesome!
I am going to Spokane, Washington for my boyfriend's brother's wedding over the July 4th weekend. I'm meeting the family (the whole family!) for the first time. I'm also going to the beach with my family at the end of July and hope to make a few weekend trips to DC to see friends. That's about all I can do since I work 8-5.... |
Nannying during the week and hostessing on the weekends. Trying to save some money to study abroad in Australia Fall 2005, but not getting very far on that goal! I just got back from taking highschoolers to YoungLife camp and now I am gearing up for my fall new member class! Lots to do!

Cardinal SM, which Young Life camp were you at? I used to do Young Life and I went to Windy Gap, Pioneer Plunge (also at Windy Gap) Frontier Ranch and Rockbridge. I loved it and I miss it!

I'm going home this weekend for a Chi O wedding. That should be fun!
Then I go to visit my brother, sister-in-law and niece in Michigan the week of July 4th and my mom will be coming in and meeting us. And I finally get to go dress shopping with my mommy! :D That's it for travel, though. But there's always lots of fun stuff in NYC to do during the summer, and often times it's free! A miracle here... |
I went to the Chi O wedding this weekend! It was a lot of fun. I hadn't seen the bride or the Chi O bridesmaid in about 3 years. And another sister and I went to the church together. We happened to see the bridal party's room. So I decided when it is my big day I would love for them to stop in and see me, so we popped our heads in the door. Of course the non-Chi O's saw us first and stared at us blankly. Then the bride saw me and yelled out my name which made the Chi O bridesmaid look and she squealed. Then we all started hugging and crying! :p Her mom heard us and came in an "yelled" at me because the bride hadn't cried all day until she saw us! That just made me feel really special and made me really happy to be a Chi O. :)
