For those who don't know...Im bipolar. Though, I'm on meds and I do quite well, and these days you wouldn't even know I have it. But this thread just kinda solidified some of the insecurities I have, and although it shouldn't get to me, I am totally depressed from it. :( Which is weird, because I deal with my disorder really well, and it doesn't usually get me down that I have this. But I have soooo many guy friends, and that's cool, and I'm ok with being single, no prob. But...every once in a while, I get weird thoughts, like that the guys I'm interested in don't want to persue anything other than a friendship because I have this condition. Maybe I'm wrong, too. I dunno.

I should also mention that I had to go w/o meds for about a week because they were late coming in, and now my body has to readjust all over again...so I'm a bit moody right now, and being a bit over sensitive.

So, thought I'd come here for some sisterly love. *sigh* :( I'm so depressed.

I usually don't post much but I am sorry about what was said. As a person who has suffered from depression and someone who has held the hand of many depressed (and sometimes suicidal) friends I understand why that upset you. If someone really loves you they will be more than happy to help you deal with any issues you may have. Hugs!!

Hey sis, thanks a lot. :) I'm ffeeling a bit better now. Where in Georgia are you from?? Because I am considering UGA for grad school.

I go to Georgia Southern (Gamma Theta)....a lot of my friends go to UGA. I wanted to go to there but b/c of medical probs I had to stay close to home. Are you a music major?

Yes, I am a saxophone major. :) My sax teacher studied with Dr. Fischer for his masters and doctorate at UGA, and I know Fischer is an amazing musician so I am considering it for grad school. :) How much do you know about the music school there? I'm trying to get as much input as possible.

My Big is a sax major! I don't know much about the music program but I am sure I could find out anything you need to know. I have some friends who are/were active in the music program but only as undergrads.

Basically, I'd just like to know how much people like the music school there, and definately anything about Dr. Fischer. :) Thanks!

I will see who I can get intouch with and I will post anything i find out.
