Congratulations (in advance) to Omega Psi recharterers
 

According to the information in the National Extension Report (and confirmed by Judy Mitchell) Omega Psi chapter is scheduled to recharter *this* weekend. The chapter president made a typo apparently by saying June 5,2005.

I'd like to wish all of the recharterers all the best and am looking forward to calling them my brothers.

Wow! I've never known of a summer chartering ceremony. Way to go JSU! Wish we would have know in advance. I think a few of us might still make it down there though. You petitioning process was quick!

I looked through the history book once when I was bored. The fraternity has had charterings in every month of the calendar except July. If I remember correctly Gamma Alpha at U of Washington was a June chartering date. I would imagine the months for recharterings would vary equally. But it is cool!

I am so very glad to know that everyone is pushing for us. I must say that as President I have been at this for over a 1 1/2. There were times that I wanted to give up and times that I wanted to give in but those two twins GRACE and MERCY kept me. I am very very very excited and I really want to get to know as many positive brothers as possible. I am very blessed to know that there are brothers rooting us on all over the world.
