AGD Summer Vacations!

I know many of us will be attending the Centennial Convention in Chicago in July, but I'm sure that many of my sisters will be jet-setting off to other places this summer! If so, post your plans here and make us jealous!

At the end of next month I'm flying to Raleigh, NC to be with M for his birthday. He's stationed at Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville (barforama), but he and his friends are renting a house on the Outer Banks for his birthday weekend. That should be FUN and well worth the 5 hour drive! I finally get to go to all the places mentioned in Nicholas Sparks' novels.

I'm also staying five extra days in Chicago following Convention in July. I'll most likely visit with a pledge sister who now lives in Michigan, but I'd love to get together with any area AGDs/GCers who will be in town then. :)

Don't know what I'm doing for August yet, but I'm smelling Vegas or LA after my 25th birthday. :o We'll see!

I'm a travelin' fool this summer... none of them are really 'vacations' though, just trips - some business, some pleasure. Gosh, listing this out is making me realize I'm NUTS!

June 20-22 - Vegas (fun)
June 26-29 - Phoenix (work)
July 13-15 - Little Rock (work)
July 16-21 - Chicago (duh! ;))
July 25-29 - Denver (work)
July 31-August 4 - San Diego (work)
August 7-11 - Long Beach (work)
August 12-19 - Idaho (volunteer/fun)
August 27-29 - Vegas (fun)
September 9-12 - Vegas (fun)

Next weekend, I'm hitting Sedona, Grand Canyon and Las Vegas with my folks and some other relatives from Greece.

Of course, who could forget Chicago in July?

We might try to squeeze in a trip somewhere for our anniversary at the end of August.

And, best of all (although technically it isn't summer), I've decided that I'm going to take a trip to Greece towards the end of September or beginning of October. This is my way of celebrating the end of my internship and my new promotion. I'm hoping to take 3 weeks, but we'll see! :D

Unfortunately, I won't be making it to the Centennial Convention ( :( ) but hopefully I will be going to Newfoundland in August with my boyfriend.

Early July: New York City!!!!!!!!
July 16-21: Chicago (hehe :))
Early-mid August: LA/Vegas (attending a wedding in LA)

I'll probably take another trip to NYC at the end of August if I don't have a job yet.

Just Chicago for me. I've used up all my vacation/sick bank on the kids being sick, having snow days, half days with no latch key, etc. It stinks!

Unless of course you count this Thursday and Friday when I'm accompanying my daughter on a field trip with the whole 4th and 5th grade to Mackinac Island. Leave at 5 am Thursday morning, arrive home 8:30 pm Friday night. It's going to be busy, loud, fun, loud and LOUD! All those kids on a bus for 5 hours, two days in a row.. Loud!

And then there's a day I'm spending at Cub Scout day camp to help chaperone my den (and my son).

It's going to be a rough June!

Or maybe more. Hubby and I decided to take a delayed anniversary trip somewhere sometime, lol.

Glad we decided after he let me buy some clothes as part of my anniversary present, lol.

Hello!
I'm headed out ver soon to summer camp! I'm a counsler at a camp on the East Coast. I'm so excited! I'll be there for 10 weeks, I get back right before school starts. Anyway, just wanted to say hello and have a great summer to you all!

Oh...and the BEST part of summer: no 50 page papers! (atleast for three more months!)

I'm heading to Las Vegas for my 21st birthday :-D and I am UBER excited!!! And who could forget Chicago in July....I CAN'T WAIT :D :D :D :D :D

figured i'd stop lurking long enough to post 'bout my summer plans!

last weekend in june i'm going home to ohio for the annual firework and to see my nephew and family and friends,

from july 1-7 i'll be in san fransisco for a wedding and some tourism!

of course i'll be at centennial!

and at the end of july (27) through the beginning of august (2) i'll be in honolulu for the APA convention where i'll be presenting!

yeah for summer!!!!!

Marissa, I'll definitely see you in Chicago and we need to get together when you're in my neck of the woods! I know you'll probably be busy because you're presenting, but maybe we can sneak in an AGD get together! I return from Chicago on the 26th!

Well, I didn't think I was going to have any plans besides Chicago, but I think I may be going down the shore for a long weekend in August. :)

I'll be missing convention.... because I'm going to my cousin's wedding in England:)

I'll also be spending a week in Wales- renting a car with a friend and driving around- I just need to remember to stay on the left!
