Cash Flow
While this may be a sensitive topic, I think it's a good thing to discuss. I was watching...I can't remember which talk show...today and there were recent college grads on there talking about how horrible life is and how poor they are. Many suggested that they had not been properly prepared for the realities of life. My questions to you, for the benefit of those currently in college, are:
1) What year were you awarded your last degree (please specify degree Bachelor's/Master's/etc.)? 2) What is your monthly income? 3) In what city and state do you live? I'll be brave and begin 1) 2003 (B.A. in English) 2) $1200 3) Athens, Georgia |
i am still in school but i saw the show and it was on dr. phil *i love that show*

Is that your monthly income before or after taxes?

And asking how much money someone makes is just like asking a lady her weight... it's just not polite. |

By the way, "skerred" was meant in good fun. |

OMG....I know this is going to sound bad but... I don't have my degree yet and I make more than $1,200 a month working as a hostess. Holy COW! and I only work 20-30 hours a week. I have an interview this Tues for a job at a Law Firm and if I get it, I'll be making more than my best friend does and she has her degree. |

I am a supervisor in a clothing store while I get my master's, and the only reason I have extra money to go shopping with is because I live with my sister and she doesn't charge me rent. Seriously. If I had to make my car payment, pay for my prescriptions, contact lenses, cell phone, and all the other stuff I pay for now PLUS pay rent, I'd be so broke it wouldn't even be funny. And Kentucky isn't even close to being the most expensive place to live.
