Question for moe.ron (anyone else who knows, chime in too)
 

OK I am trying to decide which bands I want to go see at Bonnaroo. Here are the ones that I plan on going to see...but I don't know which ones to check out that I may have never heard that would be good too.

Fri: North Mississippi, Allstars, Bob Dylan, String Cheese Incident, Dave
any suggestions for the bands playing friday?


Sat: GOMEZ!! Robert Earl Keen, Galactic, The Dead.
And i want to go see Ween, Robert Randolph, and Primus but someone brilliantly scheduled them at the SAME TIME! So I will proobably go see Ween I might go see RR for a little while--but I've seen him many times.

any others I should catch on Sat?


Sun: moe. Trey Anastasio, Maroon5(maybe), and I was told to check out Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra...so I don't know?


go to Bonnaroo.com and look at the schedule please and maybe you will be able to tell some of the bands to go check out!

Friday:
Wilco, Los Lonely Boys, Yonder Mountain String Band (bluegrass) Ani DiFranco (YOU CAN'T MISS HER!!) would all be good additions to your day. Yo La Tengo is pretty good too.

Saturday:
Add Los Lobos, Damien Rice, Jem. Maybe Steve Winwood, for nostalgia or something.

Sunday:
Taj Mahal, Leftover Salmon, GUSTER!!!, David Byrne. Oh, and maybe go to the one featuring Todd of Widespread.

I so wish I could be there!!! Have fun!!!

Friday -- Patti Smith/Wilco. Too bad their shows overlap. Bob Dylan.

Saturday -- Los Lobos, Gov't Mule, My Morning Jacket (I think they're from my hometown), STEVIE WINWOOD!!!!

Sunday -- DAVID BYRNE!!!!!

Friday-N MS Allstars or String cheese
Saturday-Govt Mule and Galactic
Sun-Taj Mahal and then Moe or Trey

Here is what I would do for Friday:

Yonder String Band
Wilco
Ani DiFranco (you will have to either leave Wilco early or miss part of Ani's set)
Yo La Tengo (not much of a Dylan fan when it come to live performance)
String Cheese Incident (leave Yo La Tengo early)
Dave Matthews and Friend
the late night show is going to tough between Vida Blue and Umphrey's McGee.

Saturday:

Los Lobos
Gov't Mule
Damien Rice (do not miss this guy)
The Dead
Primus (Do not miss these guys)

Sunday:

Burning Spear
Cracker/Camper Van Beathoven
moe.
David Byrne (damn, why they have to have MMW at the same time?)
Trey Anastasio

OK thanks, some of these were ones that i was considering going to anyway.

OK I'm pretty sure I will miss Ani DiFranco because I love North Mississippi Allstars---but I've seen them so...

And I will probably definitely go to Bob Dylan & String Cheese instead of Yo La Tengo

And I HAVE to see Gomez!! I am a huge fan of theirs but have never seen them...and I've heard their live shows are unbelievable!

I want to see Galactic....and as far as late Saturday...I HAVE to see WEEN!!! But I want to see Primus & Robert Randolph...so I'll have to rotate or something.

And as for Sunday...the only ones I really care about are Trey, Cracker, moe....so I'll check out the other recommended ones.
