i win! yyaaaay!
PBR for life, kids - if you're buying any other swill in 30s, you're drinking below your capability (and probably paying too much). PBR ME ASAP, BEEEEYATCH |
PBR really doesn't taste BAD to begin with, and it's pretty spectacular for cheap-ass beer.
I mean, sure it doesn't have the subtle nuances of a wheat beer, or the bite of an ESB-type... but it goes down easy and does the trick! And never has there been a finer choice for a white-trash bash. GO PBR!!! As for signatures, I don't really know... I think I like some of the ones that have good quotes in them (James), and cash's is pretty funny. |

The truth is, for decades Pabst was considered a Premium beer here in the states, at least when compared to the other mass-produced lagers of the time. It was never the top-selling brew, but was often considered the marquee of the extensive midwest brewing heritage. Obviously, we now have craft breweries with major-market distribution to outclass anything that comes in 'case form' . . . but god damn it, PBR is by far the best cheap beer. And it's not even close. NOT EVEN CLOSE. |
not to mention they had one of the best ad campaingns ever in the early 90's, PBR me ASAP!
