I-75 in Atlanta closed for 3 hours because of a jumper
The stupid mofo held up traffic for 3 hours. The news said traffic was backed up almost 50 miles both directions because the police stopped all cars. People were yelling at him to jump so they could get moving. He did jump but lived since no cars were there to hit him. Of course this happens to one exit away from me.

They should have just shot the idiot with a tranquilizer gun
I wonder if someone could sue him for lost wages if they were late for an hourly job because of him? |
Oh, and one more thing. If someone wants to jump, then just get up there and jump for Pete's sake. Don't stand there thinking about it.
|
If I had to sit there three hours I would have handed out placards to a bunch of cars so we could write his score down after he jumped . . .. Something to whittle away the time.

This makes me so excited for my road trip to Atlanta this weekend. :(

Between that and the chemical fire, whatcha gonna do?? Let me tell ya, I was coming down 316 to 85 South recently and it took me an hour and a half to go TEN miles. Somebody had flipped his/her car and the police were sending everybody through one lane. Now this is an eight or ten lane highway (split between north and south directions), so WOW!! It's so frustrating. I actually missed an important meeting that day because of the traffic.
Shoulda just gone down 78 and dealt with the lil bitty roads and Loganville cops, right??? LOL! |

Girl, I am so with you and James! I woulda been tempted to push them myself. I mean hell, if you are gonna jump then jump already! Don't make me late for work while you are deciding!

Honestly, these people just want attention... If they want to committ suicide, they would do it somewhere discreetly. I feel bad for the son. I hope they are able to put him with good foster parents. He doesn't need anymore drama in his life. |

And as for wasting gas, I'd have turned my engine off, turned the tunes up, and started a conga line down the interstate. Heh. :) |
