Hi! Personal Trainers vary in cost. I had one through the gym I was a member at and it was pretty reasonably priced. It really depends on where you go though. I loved my PT! (I don't go to him anymore because I moved away to school.) If you have the extra money and time, it's well worth it!

Well...I had a personal trainer for a while. Trainers in gyms tend to charge depending on how often they see you. My trainer at LA Fitness charged me $30 a session & I saw him twice a week. However, if you do like a contract for 3-6 months, they can probably give you a better break on the price.
Good-Luck!

I've got a trainer at Crunch, the gym I joined. It's VERY costly, but that's NYC for ya. $79 a session. Woa baby. But it MAKES me go to the gym and work out correctly and on the right areas. I've loved it!

They vary. The VAST majority really don't know that much, but since they know more than you do its a help ya know?

Go here, www.bodyforlife.com

Read the book Body for Life, by Bill Phillips and the book by Scott Connely. you will know more than the average personal trainer after that.

Just wanted to add my two cents on this....I got a personal trainer for my wedding (which is coming up in about 6 weeks!) and it is AMAZING. That being said, my program was about $1400 for 12 weeks but it was well worth the expense! I did not have to join the gym where I trained (I already had another gym and didn't want to pay 2 memberships) but it would have been a lot cheaper if I were a member! Good luck!
