lake of the ozarks??
 

Hey I'm leaving tomorrow for the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri and I was wondering if anyone was down in that area. My best friend and I are driving down there to live with my grandma (who lives in sunrise beach) and work (waitress/bartend- etc) so if anyone is going to be or is there- let me know :) thanks!

If I was still living in Missouri or if this was next summer when I am moving back to the Lou, then I would be down there partying and hanging out with friends. It's somewhat crazy there. Especially this weekend with it being Memorial Day Weekend and all. Z 107.7 will be there with their party house/boat so I am sure that you will have a blast. Enjoy your summer at the Ozarks

It is really beautiful down there!

There is a thing called a lake and is Huge! God some of the Boats are Stupid Big and fast!

Go to party Cove, it is nutsoid! You will hear about it when you get there! Need a or someone with a boat! Wear little so can take it off quick!;)

Lot of Tourista Stuff there. Get to know the locals so they dont gouge you, being a Home Girl!

Look out for squirrels on the road, not animals, but drivers!

Hell, biggest Party is 98.9, The Rock, Johhny Dare! Yep, they do the Pary Barge for Rockers!:D

Work in the Mexican Resturants or BBQ, more eaters than drinkers and give bigger tips!:cool:

lol thanks guys- yea my grandma lives right on the lake and has a boat- so that helps a little bit- but i'm still waiting for my car to get done! i'm so frustrated (the shop is waiting for parts) so i hope i get on the road soon- thanks!

It is beautiful. And Tom is correct--Party Cove is a huge party--it is crazy!!!! Have fun, be careful!!!

And just a little fyi--when you are in this part of the country--Missouri and the Kansas side of KC--there is no need to say Lake of the Ozarks--it is simply "The Lake" --everyone will know exactly where you are talking about.

heyyy well we finally got down here saturday night- my best friend and i went out to millstones sunday night- that was fun and then last night we went to topsiders- that was a blast- but i couldn't drink since i was driving- so my girl got blasted- we ended up meeting a big group of people- and went back to their apartments- they all live in this massive condo complex- it was a lot of fun- got home at 5 am! but we're probably going to get jobs at J.B. Hooks and ozark bar-be-que- i just wanna make moneyyyyy lol

a lot of the guys are from KU down here- and missouri schools- everyone is greek though- i love it! i met a ton of sig ep's last night and a DZ girl i was like yay!!! i guess a bunch of the brothers and a bunch of their girlfriends in sororities (however you want to phrase that) come down everysummer- we met another girl who we might party with at shooters 21- and a guy we met at j.b. hooks who bartends there has a boat and is going to bring us to party cove- i just want to go at least once!! lol anyway
