Who has their hair dyed?
I'm thinking about getting my hair dyed. I don't know what color yet, but I do know that I want to get highlights. What about y'all?
|
i would never dye all of my hair,I'm happy as a brunette, but I do have beautiful blond streaks/highlights in my hair that sheer blonde products make look as awesome as they did when I left the salon.

That sounds really pretty, Mary! Is your hair dark brunette? Mine is and I'm thinking of some blonde (really fakey looking) highlights for the summer.

I have a dark red...it's really cool and every expensive place i've gotten my hair at has people that ask if it's real. Anyway, I've done streaks and I've gone totally blonde too. I'm thinking of going darker and getting brown soon.

I have done everything to my hair. Highlights, at home full dye job. Just a few months ago, a year after going back to my natual brown hair, I got nice honey colored low-lights. Supposedly they are less harsh color & chemical wise for the hair.

I have naturally dark dark brown hair and I never ever colored it until I finally gave in last summer and got some blonde highlights put in. I absolutely loved them and now almost a year later I have just gotten more and more put in. I didn't think I'd ever look right with having a ton of blonde in my hair since I am dark complected and all that but I get soooooo many compliments on my hair and it's probably my favorite part of me. :D Start out with just a few highlights, it's so much easier to add more on than it is to take out highlights. (Trust me this happened to me over spring break. :( ) Let us know how they turn out!

Has anyone ever added a little bit of color or highlights to their bush? DeltaSigStan wants to know.

A blond doing cartwheels.... |
i dyed my hair when i was like 13- and since i just had highlights and died it blonder and blonder- but i have a fairly olive complexion (sp?) i died it darker brown last fall- and waited for my real color to grow in- its pretty dark- but its a little mousy brown- i think i should either go darker- or put highlights in... (but i'm too cheap to do it in a salon right now) argh... (now its at that weird grow out stage- half of it is natural- the other half is dyed- i hate it! )

I had honey brown highlights from 13 to 18.
I had medium to dark brown hair from 18 to 19. I went back to my natural hair color at 20, which is dark brown to black, but I'm growing reddish brown highlights in my bangs...weird... ETA: FRIENDS DON'T LET FRIENDS USE SUN-IN!!! It was responsible for those honey brown highlights, but it made the texture very rough. |
ive had my hair black, and blond but currently its natural brunette. Im probably dying it black again when I go back to school in a week

I grew up with "dirty blonde" hair...but now have been dying it with L'Oreal Feria....it is now auburn and I love it!! It is so simple too (and cheap)....I just buy the kit and dye it all with one step!!

I have colored my hair a reddish brown color by a professional since I was 25. My natural hair color is dark brown and the color is hard to see without light. The solution was to highlight several streaks before applying the full color and it works.
ETA: I tried going blonde when I was 13 with blonde streaks. Unfortunately, they looked brassy on me and my beautician was afraid I would ruin her reputation. When I was 14 or 15, I got auburn streaks and I receive a lot of compliments (and made a beautician happy) |
Let's see... in 7th grade I experimented with Sun-In and lemon juice. I have really dark poopy brown hair. Yeah for the orange. Ever since then I've dyed it and highlighted. I had lots of blonde highlights in it, and I got bored so I had my cousin (my stylist) throw in BRIGHT red and blonde and it looked absolutely awesome. Now I can't afford highlights next month, so it looks liek a bottle of Chocolate Cherry by Feria will be my next color. I haven't been all dark in so long!
