Brother and Cousin Allegedly Rape,
Beat and Murder a young girl in Cincinnati?
Can the Ohio peeps enlighten us on what's going on? I heard this on the radio earlier today? What kind of rage is building inside these children today? The Brother AND the cousin? Something needs to be done to try to combat these "anger" levels. OH me, OH my! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/eek.gif |
OKAY, Y'all I found the article after performing a search http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif and I am not feeling this. It is so sad that this little girl is dead and the story is just not lining up.
Here is the link: http://www.cincypost.com/2001/aug/18/moms081801.html |
I am with you CT4, there is something about this story that is not right. Ok the parents are stating that the boys were playing to rough. Playing as all young boys will do, but if they were only "playing" why did the police arrest the 13 yr old cousin on RAPE?!! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/eek.gif
Something definitely is not right with this story, and the mother of little girl had already had her children taken away previously...something just is not right. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/frown.gif ------------------ ...and like that I'm gone!! KL |
Out of lurkdom to comment oh this:
One of the saddest things I heard in a long time. The 13 year old raped that child and they both beat her. The children shouldn't have been there anyway. I can understand the grandmothers frustrations, but I'll rather see them split up, then living like they were. I wonder where was the 9 year old daughter at the time. The whole family appears to have problems. The 13 year old was truant, this is a typical sign that the mom had lost control. The neighbor getting involved also a sign. I work among these children, and I see so many problems. |
Sad, Sad, Sad...
So she was raped BEFORE she called her mother? And what kind of child rearing went into a boy that would kick his sister in the VAGINA? Where are the fathers? Yall, what is really going on? |
as if we don't have enough problems here in Cincy, now we have a case of fratricide. this case illustrates the problem w/so-called welfare reform. the mother was working 2 jobs but couldn't find real childcare. hence, her kids were taken from her after being home alone. then after her mother gave her back the children w/o authorization, she leaves her kids w/this 13 yr. old accused rapist and her brother, the accused killer.
so many people dropped the ball on this one... |
I read this story and I'm a little lost. I'm not understanding where the RAPE part came in...This family does in fact need counseling and support from their community (church, social services etc.). There is no reason that these two boys should spend time in jail until they are 21. I just don't see it. They need help ~ emotionally, mentally, probably physically, definitely spiritually, and academically. I pray God's peace, mercy, and assurance over their families in JESUS name.

Of course, it's easier to type that then actually carry it out, but I don't think we should pin this one on the cruel and evil gubment just yet. DG |

i'm not letting this mother off the hook at all. she was absolutely wrong. wrong for leaving her kids alone and in turn being adjudicated as such then keeping her kids even though she wasn't supposed to per the court system. when i say "many people dropped the ball", i mean the mother, grandmother, the boys/victimizers, etc. i'm just wondering if the welfare reform (ie. having mothers work but at times w/o adequate childcare) is all that it's cracked up to be. not just from this situation but others. i must disagree on jailing the boys. putting those boys in juvenile detention isn't a bad thing. trying them as adults would be.
